There will be additional confession time every Saturday from 8:00 – 8:30am, and the regular confession time from 3:30-4:30pm.

Assistance Needed: We are in need of an assistant for the church sound system when the Children’s Choir sings for special Masses. If you are available once or twice a month to help us set up microphones and control the settings, we would greatly appreciate it. No experience needed—just a willingness to help. We are also looking for a bass player to join us when the Children’s Choir sings. If you are interested in helping with either of the responsibilities, please contact Carla at (323) 707-4331.

Our choir is open to all children from ages 5 to 13 who demonstrate the love of singing and can be committed to our rehearsal and Mass schedule. Rehearsal on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Children will sing throughout the school year (Masses throughout the year include Faith Formation at the beginning of the year, All Saint’s Day, Immaculate Conception, Christmas Eve, and more…). Mandatory Parent’s Meeting on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:30pm in the Music Room. For more information regarding our Children’s Choir, please contact Carla at (323) 707-4331 or by email at carla.hsmusic@gmail.com.

The Faith Formation Program at our parish is in need of Catechists. We invite you (parents, teachers, college students….) to consider being God’s messenger to spread the Good News and open the children’s hearts to the Lord. As a person of faith, you can share your own faith experiences. This can be your love of God, your gratitude for God’s many gifts, and your personal friendship with Jesus. You could volunteer as main teacher, assistant, office helper, or special events. Classes are open on weekends and weekdays, from kindergarten through high school for Confirmation.

The Pastoral Council wishes to thank all the parishioners especially those who shared their concern, input, and suggestions for the betterment of the Parish. Your comments have been received by Fr. Joseph. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can continue to improve our worship and parish life. Thank you!!!!

* A friendly reminder to keep all your valuable items at home. We DO NOT have a security patrol, so please be careful about placing your valuable items in the car.
* Starting September, the Church will be open daily at 5:00am except Sunday when we open at 6:00am. Your safety is our priority so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Church Clean-up
Priests and Staff wish to thank many men and women from various ministry who come together to clean-up the house of God every Thursday after the 9:00am Mass. If you have time on Thursday and would like to help in this special ministry, please contact Roz Esh at (714) 963-1811.

Extraordinary Ministers to the Sick
Do you have a couple of hours twice a month on Sunday to bring our Lord to those who are homebound?
During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, “Visit the Sick,” is a corporal work the Church called us to do.
If you are interested in this ministry, please contact Carol Souza at (714) 964-5417 or email csouza6910@veriszon.net.

We are urgently looking for adults to be lectors for our Liturgy especially the Sunday 12:00pm Mass. Please seriously consider this ministry; we need you!
