Update August 5: Our Pastor, Fr. Joseph Tran went to get tested again early this week, and his COVID-19 test result was NEGATIVE.  Starting tomorrow, August 6, he will be celebrating Mass again. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

For Your Attention: Effective immediately, whenever you are present on Church campus, the following MUST be enforced for everyone’s safety

  • Wear face mask and keep social distancing of 6 feet apart at all times.
  • Do not move chairs unless you’re with family of 3 or more.
  • During Communion, face mask must be on while maintain social distancing.
  • To receive Communion by mouth, please wait to be last in a Priest’s line.
  • No socializing after Mass.
  • Those who feel unsafe to attend Mass in person, please continue attending Mass online.

Bishop Vann announces that all Catholics in Orange County who are ill, concerned about becoming ill or wish to stay away from large crowds will be dispensed from their obligation to attend Mass. Sunday Mass will be livestreamed in English at 9:45 a.m. at Christ Cathedral. Daily Mass will be livestreamed at 8:15 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and on Sunday at 9 a.m. at

As the cold and flu season reaches its peak, Holy Spirit Parish will be taking preventive actions to minimize the spreading of these illnesses.

  1. We will temporarily receive Holy Communion in the form of hosts only.
  2. We are asking that you skip hand shaking and use only a verbal greeting at the sign of Peace.
  3. At the Our Father, please refrain from holding hands for now.
  4. If you are ill, please remain at home. You are absolved from the Sunday Mass obligation.


We are privileged to have 24-hour exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday from 9:30am to 9am Saturday morning, and every 4th of the month. But so few visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! Great graces await those who bring their cares, problems, and concerns before the Lord. From midnight until 5:00am, we are especially in need of adorers. Your Merciful King is waiting!
