    Our Parish Christmas Concert is around the corner on Friday, December 9, at 7:30pm. We are once again asking for your help to offset the concert’s expenses. If you’re a business owner or if your family would be able to help sponsor our event, please send your donation to the Parish Office with a memo, “Christmas Concert Sponsor.” We appreciate any assistance and we hope you will join us on Friday, December 9, at 7:30pm for this wonderful event.     To conclude the October National Respect Life Month, the Respect Life Ministry will hold the annual Diocesan wide PENNIES FROM HEAVEN DRIVE next weekend on our church patio. Please bring your jars and baggies of coins, dollars and checks to fill up water bottles found at all the entrances. Proceeds are divided evenly to support the life saving work of the Life Centers of OC, Obrio Clinics and mobile van services, Casa Teresa, Precious Life Shelter, Horizon Pregnancy Clinic, and Mary’s Shelter (home for minor pregnant teens). Help us provide for the needs and care of those who opt out of abortion in crisis situations and CHOOSE LIFE for their babies because free alternative services are offered for their needs. SAVING ONE BABY, SAVES GENERATIONS!!
    THE LADIES OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS AND FRIENDS INVITE You to our 22ND ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE in Doyle Hall, Sunday, December 4, 8:00am to 3:00pm. There will be Egg Rolls, Tamales, Baked Goods, Jams, Jellies, Jewelry, Arts & Crafts, and so much more…Lots of raffle prizes...and don’t forget to bring the children to see Santa. (All profits are donated to charities.)
    You and your family are invited to remember and honor those who have passed away, especially during this year, during our Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, November 5 at the 9:00am Mass.
    WE DID IT and it’s official! Bishop Kevin Vann will present Holy Spirit with $5,000 for our 30% year-over-year increase in parish participation in our 2016 Pastoral Services Appeal (PSA) on October 24. Thank You everyone for your active participation and generous support. May the Holy Spirit constantly watch over us and may God continue to bless us as we continue to KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE God so that we can go forth to share His Love in the wider community of Fountain Valley.
    Tuesday, October 18 - Sunday, October 23 In compliance with Diocesan Policy, each year students will learn about Safety Education according to age appropriate levels.     Gone But Not Forgotten. It is our Christian duty to bury the dead; cremated remains are no exception. The Diocese of Orange Catholic Cemeteries has initiated a “Remembrance Program” to provide a dignified, complimentary committal of otherwise unburied remains at one of the cemeteries. For more info., please call the Diocese of Orange Catholic Cemeteries at (888) 534-5020 and press 1 or visit OCCEM.org. Minimal charge for burial permit will be required. The cremated remains must be at least one year old.

    The Self-Help Interfaith Program (SHIP/shipinoc.com) is an ecumenical venture of approximately 15 churches in Orange County. SHIP provides a program to help people transition from homelessness to a stable residence with a job. Holy Spirit will host SHIP from October 15 to October 28. We need your help in providing meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), non-perishable items, and donations. There will be sign-up sheets on the patio after Mass until October 9.

    ♦ We will be starting a Spanish children's choir that will sing as scheduled at our Mass. Children between the ages of 5 to 13 are encouraged to join.
    ♦ We need your assistance and prayers in helping us increase our Mass attendance. Let us spread the word about our vibrant 6:30pm Spanish celebration every Saturday night.
  • Church Clean-up
    Priests and Staff wish to thank many men and women from various ministry who comes together to clean-up the house of God every Thursday after the 9:00am Mass. If you have time on Thursday and would like to help in this special ministry, please contact Roz Esh at (714) 963-1811.

  • Extraordinary Ministers to the Sick
    Do you have a couple of hours twice a month on Sunday to bring our Lord to those who are homebound?
    During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, “Visit the Sick,” is a corporal work the Church called us to do.
